Auburn University's Tribology Symposium
On August 28th, 2018 Auburn University hosted their 6th annual Tribology and Lubrication Science Minor Symposium. The event featured a student research symposium, a poster presentation, a keynote seminar by Dr. Kyle Schulze, and much more.

We had the pleasure of showcasing our instrumentation at the student career fair. We also met some of tribology’s brilliant new minds and were impressed by their enthusiasm and dedication to their research.

As the event drew to a close, we presented one student—the winner of the poster presentation segment—with the Dube Tribology Scholarship award. This scholarship is awarded to students who demonstrate an exceptional commitment to tribology research and would like to further their education in the field. Congratulations to Sanjeev K.C. for his winning poster, titled “Bio-derived Oil for Automotive and Industrial Lubrication.”
The event was a massive success and we’re so incredibly fortunate to have been a part of it. We look forward to returning next year. A big thanks to Dr. Robert Jackson, the students, and Auburn University for having us!
